Hampstead Family Home

This North London home underwent a thoughtful renovation to cater to the lifestyle of a multicultural family who spent eight years in New York City before returning to the UK. With a Japanese mother and a British father, the family wanted their Victorian house to better suit their dynamic lifestyle, as the traditional layout of small rooms and a modest garden no longer matched their needs.

Aiming to create a space that embraced their diverse backgrounds, they invested in essential updates that enhanced both function and aesthetics. Key improvements included a new kitchen, custom cabinetry, and metal Fabco windows, which were selected for both their durability and beauty. Over five months, SPOTS Design and REMS Contracting team transformed the interior, creating an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area that fosters connection and flow.
